Hi,
I have SSRS reports which do not reside on Sharepoint but live on a different server. I want to be able to have a link from Power BI to SSRS report passing in paramaters which will then be passed into the SSRS report. Can this be achieved?
I have created a text box with a URL but unable to pass paramaters. The values which i would like to pass in the parameters will be the filters selected within the Power BI report.
Do you have an example? I have come across examples where you can specifiy the field\table eq value but this is not what i need.
I am using Power BI Desktop March 2018.
Thank you

If you are using RDL paginated reports you can specify any comibation of report parmeters on the URL. For PBIX desktop reports, currently on the simple eq value approach is supported. A more full featured URL based filtering similar to the PBI service is being considered for a future release of PBIRS. I'd encourage you to up-vote that on power bi user voice forums.
