Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 264 Release Notes


Service Update 264 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.1.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 264.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

To determine whether your organization had this update applied, check your Microsoft Dynamics 365 version number. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click About.

An (*) at the end of a fix statement denotes that this repair item was incorporated into multiple service update releases.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • When display settings were set to 200 percent, the user interface did not contain all of the rows and columns within a grid.*
  • The accessibility screen reader narrated the incorrect amount of records when announcing a search result.*
  • When accessing cases within the Customer Service Hub, the screen reader read from an incorrect flyout.
  • When modifying email templates, the accessibility narrator announced unnecessary table details in an incorrect order.
  • When focus was applied to the 'Of Current View' list item, the narrator announced the tooltip information for the 'More Commands' option.
  • The screen reader did not read the Retry button followed a failed Relevance search.

Knowledge Management

  • When modifying a multi-line text field using a rich text editor, the user interface displayed duplicate expand icons.
  • When modifying a multi-line text field using a rich text editor, the user interface displayed duplicate expand icons.

Platform Services

  • In the Customer Service Hub, the timeline did not update with saved changes after case creation.*
  • When receiving an email, the "from" field did not contain the correct email address.*
  • When creating a new work order, the user interface experienced slow performance and extended loading times.
  • Emails arriving in the Exchange inbox were not synced to Dynamics 365.*

Unified Client

  • Changes made to text boxes would revert when using the mouse to navigate out of the box.
  • When creating three personal dashboard views for an entity, only two were displayed.
  • Records would not display when loading the Home Page Grid with Editable Grid Instance.
  • The “Show more records" flyout did not display when no suggested records were found.
  • When modifying a record, the user interface would not refresh custom controls within a form.
  • Work orders could not be viewed or scheduled when using Right to Left language.*
  • On mobile, the service tab was not loading within a Booking Entity while online.*
  • On iOS, when selecting the phone field in an offline app, focus did not move to the phone field and the keyboard was unresponsive.
  • The search flyout did not refresh with every new character.
  • The DatePicker controls InitialPickerDate, FirstDayOfWeek, and AllowTextInput did not accept any text input values.*
  • Newly created browser tabs from Customer Service workspace were not auto-focusing upon creation.*
  • On Android, when adding a new note within a Booking Entity while in offline mode, only the title box for the note was present.*
  • When using keyboard shortcuts, focus did not remain on the Show More button upon selection.
  • When using keyboard shortcuts, focus did not remain when selecting the Clear All option within the search box.
  • The calendar for date input during record creation did not appear.*
  • On mobile devices in offline mode, the user interface did not display the date and time in the Field Service app.
  • When selecting the "delete more commands" option using a keyboard, focus was applied to the separate "delete" menu item.

The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.

Platform Services

  • An error occurred when creating a "Promotion Campaign" record that contained English language characters.*
  • An error occurred when importing a custom solution.*
  • An error occurred when additional components were added during a solution package upgrade.*

Sales

  • An error occurred when attempting to connect to SharePoint.

Solutions

  • An error occurred when attempting to perform bulk edit action for multiple cases.
  • An error occurred when qualifying a lead with SLA enabled for both the lead and opportunity.*

Unified Client

  • An error message did not occur when signing into an app without the required credentials.*
  • An error occurred when enabling the Microsoft teams integration.*
  • An error occurred when setting product associations within a knowledge article record.*
  • An error occurred when modifying a required date field in a form.*
    • An error occurred when submitting a job using a custom connector or logic app workflow.*
  • An error occurred when attempting to change the advance filter from Address1: Street to Address1: City.
  • An error occurred when creating a new booking entity with a business process flow (BPF).
  • An error intermittently occurred when using the "Show all views" or "All activities" view in the Dashboard of an activity entity.
  • An error was displayed after discarding changes within an entity when signing out.
  • An error occurred during a solution import when ribbon menu generation did not load.*
  • An error occurred during Business Process Flows when attempting to create a new service request from phone call activity.*
  • An error occurred when selecting a service type while creating bookings and work orders.*
