There is a known issue with Mariner 2.0 Kubernetes nodes not always syncing time from the Hyper-V hosts, resulting in time-dependent applications triggering false alerts when they are out of sync.
To resolve, the Mariner team is working on a solution that ensures worker node VMs sync time from the Hyper-V host in cases where they are not domain joined.
