Hey guys, I've been searching for this topic over the Internet, but I didn't find anything accurate about that.
I know that the ignition is designed just to run once, I want to know if there is a possibility to run ignition again using Vmware through Ovftool as described here:
I also did:  "touch /boot/flatcar/first_boot"

but when I do this process my ignition passed though the command is ignored and the old ignition used from the first boot is performed again.

Anyone here has some thoughts on that?

Hi Pedro,

You could try placing the updated ignition at “/usr/share/oem/config.ign”. You will also need the “touch /boot/flatcar/first_boot” step. After a reboot your updated ignition should be parsed correctly.
