Excel filter by user name and send email

Hi, I need help with Power Automate.

I have an excel table with actions, status and owner name.

I need to filter all open items (I have done that via 'list rows present in a table' followed with 'filter array')

And group them by owner name and email to owner with the list of open items (I use 'create html table').

I'm stuck at how to group them.

Anyone can help?

Your guidance saved me! For my example, I still have one problem that one column value (Report#) is not shown in the email generated.

P.S. I managed to find the workaround myself. Just remove the # will fix it. Welcome any alternative way.

Please change the expression to item()?['Report_x0023_'] and try again.

I am struggling on the exact same task!

The only thing.... Can't understand why my flow enforce "apply to each" container around my first "select" option.

You guys seem to be ok without it. Is it critical?

 in this case... should I still put "select" in the expression, or replace it with "apply to each?"

I am familiar with this issue.

This happens because Flow uses "actual names" of columns. 

In case of excel, you can create any dummy action with dynamic content calling for  this column and then hover your mouse over to see "actual name"

It also applies to SharePoint lists.

Please enter the content of From first and then select the content in the Map, so that there will be no apply to each.

Hi all! This is exactly what I want to do in a workflow of mine! Thanks @v-LilyW-msft  for the tips.

I'm having some issues regarding the first 'Apply to each' action. 

This is what I have built by now

In the Apply to each expression I have writen exactly what you suggested

But in the next step I couldn't find the 'Apply_to_each'[e-mail] there

Any thoughts on this one?

Can't be found in the dynamic content, you can directly enter it in Expression.

items('Apply_to_each')['e-mail']

Hello. You can force the dynamic content to be available by using the Parse JSON action (it makes the desired JSON object tags available for use, when you provide an adequate example to build the schema), though it's actually easier to use the expression with:

items('Apply_to_each')?['your_column']
