Global Business Organization Intern  
San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Detroit

LinkedIn is looking for an enthusiastic Intern to join our Global Business Organization team (GBO).  As an intern, you could help drive new business for GBO by helping with account plans, optimizing our sales process, analyzing industry trends, or developing new business pitches.  You will work closely with LinkedIn’s world class Talent Solutions, Marketing Solutions, Learning Solutions or Sales Solutions teams. This is a great opportunity for students interested in learning more about being a sales professional. Upon completion of a successful GBO internship you will be considered for LinkedIn’s entry level talent rotational program, the Business Leadership Program. 

While the function of the internship will remain relatively similar across all teams, the responsibilities and projects will differ according to the specific team you are aligned with.   

Based on candidate interest and business need, this internship will be available in New York, Chicago, Detroit or San Francisco Bay Area.  

Students must have the ability to participate in a 12-week summer internship program. This is a full-time internship role that will take place between May - September 2022. 

 
Responsibilities:  

  • Help strategize with team members on how best to target and engage with senior level executives at client companies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business. 

  • Identify and understand trends within prospect markets and industries. 

  • Assist our senior account executives in preparing for executive meetings with potential clients and existing clients. 

  • Contacting individual clients and users to enroll them in training.   

  • Lead targeted marketing campaigns introducing our new services to prospects and clients.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, academic program at an accredited college or university to obtain a bachelor's degree by June of 2023  

  • Must be returning to school the term following your summer internship  

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Social media experience 

  • Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM 

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) 

  • Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written), as well as organizational skills 

  • Highly motivated individual with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail 

  • Experience working and succeeding in a goal-driven environment 

  • We are looking for candidates who possess integrity, passion & humor
