Power Apps Portals Version 9.2.10.x Release

Portal host Version 9.2.10.x  resolves the following issues:

  • When Home Page of a portal is deleted or deactivated, "Not Found" message is shown on screen. After this fix, user will see a default "Page Not Found" Page when Home Page is deleted or deactivated.

  • Count shown on charts is different in Portal when viewing the same chart in model driven app.

  • Luminosity ratio of the text and links is less than 4.5:1 in certain pages.

  • Error messages shown in CAPTCHA are not localized in the language used by the end user on Portal.

  • If multiple entity lists are added on same page with a large page size, then entity list will overlap each other in chrome browser.

  • <li> elements are not used semantically in entity lists.

  • <iframe> and <frame> elements does not contain a non-empty title attribute.

  • Text field treats new line as two characters in place of 1.

  • Focus is lost when we click ESC from Keyboard in lookup dialog.

  • Currency type fields can't be prepopulated on an entity form when using entity form metadata to set a predefined value for the field.

  • Add note" button is not accessible using keyboard in Record View.

  • Custom Plugin Error is not shown during create of a note record from portal even when Site/EnableCustomPluginError is set to true.

  • Related Record Filtering defined on lookups is not working correctly when a 1:n relationship is used to filter records.

  • Unable to search datetime field in dd/MM/yyyy format when using search functionality in entity list.

  • Month chart does not honor the sorted order defined in the chart for link entities.

  • State Validation fails while authenticating using OpenId Connect provider if noncelifetime setting is set.

  • WebAPI: When setting up lookup attribute value during create calls, write permission on the lookup entity is required even though user is not creating/updating record of the lookup entity.

  • Unifying the caching approach for add-ons and capacity based portals and caching performance improvements. See details here

Potential Breaking Change

  • As part of this release we are updating various client libraries used in portals. If you have taken dependency on functionality of these libraries for custom code, please validate this release.

    • Jquery is updated to 3.0.0.0 -

      • We are using jquery-migrate-3.1.0.js to handle API's which may have been deprecated or have a change in behavior in Jquery 3.0 version as compared to Jquery 1.12 version. Custom JavaScript code may show some warnings in the browser console which should be fixed by updating the custom code.

      • However, if you have custom javascript code on portal using deprecated Jquery Api's from older Jquery versions (<1.10), then they might not behave properly after the upgrade. More details can be read here.

    • Bootstrap js is updated to 3.4.1

    • JQueryUI is updated to 1.11.4

    • CKEditor is updated to 4.11.4

This release also contains performance, security fixes and improve overall reliability of Power Apps portals.
