Two weeks ago, we shared with you a new creative that reflects what we’ve been seeing and hearing from LinkedIn members about what’s changing and evolving in their relationships with work and life. Many of you added your responses and shared additional perspectives on what showing up as a professional means, and today, we’re launching the next video that speaks to the explorations of self-identity and -expression in the world of work. One of the ways in which our members have been extending these conversations is by adding their pronouns to their profiles, and building a sense of curiosity, awareness, encouragement, and courage for all of us to take part in creating a more inclusive culture and spaces for each other. As always, we’d love to continue to hear from you: what does being professional mean to you? Thank you David Cohen and Team Adweek for the shout-out: https://lnkd.in/d99YShXd
Love this Minjae! I also love the fact that Prof. Jonathan A.J. Wilson PhD DLitt made an appearance!
You’re bringing heart and soul to LinkedIn, Minjae ❤️
YES, YES, YES. Love it Minjae!
So glad 😆 is professional … emojis and gifs are my communication go-to in business & life 😅😂🤣
Wow this is really exceptional!
A step in the right direction, love it! Next, I'd like to see LinkedIn sink its teeth into showcasing how work and life have gotten fused together, such that it is not unprofessional to show what this fusion means to different people.
Great video, Minjae. Excited to keep following along what your team is building.

2yMinjae, my forever inspo, omg. You are changing the game at LinkedIn. This video captures it all, and it’s powerful to see the representation. To answer your question, what does professionalism mean to me? Sighhh, the word triggers me. It makes me think imposter syndrome, code-switching, changing the parts of you that seems “too different” but what do I want professionalism to be? Exactly what you showed in the video. I want it to be real, inclusive, and to represent the communities that weren’t welcomed into those spaces beforehand. Thank you for this video and for changing the way people think and view professionalism. 🧡
